TERMS & CONDITIONS

By using jalcustoms.com and/or purchasing products from J.A.L. Concepts LLC you agree to the following terms and conditions.

 

All parts are inspected by J.A.L. Concepts LLC before being shipped. It is the customers’ responsibility to inspect all parts before installing. If a defect is found, do not install and contact us immediately.  J.A.L. Concepts LLC is not responsible for repairing, replacing, exchanging, warranting, or refunding products that have failed due to improper installation, improper use, improper maintenance, any modification, or any other mistreatment of the products including handling, packaging, and return shipping by the customer. J.A.L. Concepts LLC is not responsible for any risk associated with its products as it is the sole responsibility and decision of the user to determine whether the product is suitable for their personal use. The user will assume all personal, injury, and legal risks. Our products are designed to fit stock motorcycles and fitment is not guaranteed on modified/custom cycles. All products are of limited quantity. Product prices may change without notice.

 

Limited Warranty

 

Parts are warranted against manufacturer defects ONLY for a period of 1 year from date of purchase. Warranty will be void in the event that the product has failed due to improper installation, improper use, improper maintenance, any modification or any other mistreatment of the products. J.A.L. Concepts LLC will determine whether the product has been mistreated or if the product is truly defective and the limited warranty applies. In the rare case that a manufacturer defect is found during the warranty period stated we will, at our option, provide a replacement product or repair the original product at no charge. No refund or credit will be issued for labor or other costs incurred relating to the original product. Warranty will be honored by J.A.L. Concepts LLC to the original customer only. Customer must have proof of purchase such as the original invoice showing the date the product was purchased. Customer must contact J.A.L. Concepts LLC for an RA# (return authorization number) before the product is returned for a warranty claim. J.A.L. Concepts LLC may require photos of the flawed product before issuing an RA #. Items returned to J.A.L. Concepts LLC without an RA # will not be eligible for repair, refund, exchange, or replacement. Customer will receive further instruction upon issue of the RA #. Warranty does not cover any shipping or insurance charges. At return inspection J.A.L. Concepts LLC may, at our discretion, return shipping charges to the customer.

 

Chrome Products

Use caution when installing all chrome products as the finish can be fragile. Chrome products must be handled and maintained properly. A quality polish or wax should be used on chrome products to protect the finish and prevent any rust or corrosion from forming.

 

Black Anodized Products

 

Abrasive cleaners and waxes on black anodized products may fade or dull the finish. Exposure to UV rays is also harmful to black anodized products and may fade the finish. 

 

Return/Exchange Policy

 

All items returned or exchanged must be in new unused condition and uninstalled. No returns on Custom built parts. Products that have failed due to improper installation, improper use, improper maintenance, any modification, or any other mistreatment of the products including handling are not eligible for returns or exchanges. Returns or exchanges will be made to the original customer only. Customer must have proof of purchase such as the original invoice showing the date the product was purchased. J.A.L. Concepts LLC must be notified of return within 14 days after parts are received by customer. Returns must be pre-approved and customer must obtain an RA # before returning products back to J.A.L. Concepts LLC. Items returned to J.A.L. Concepts LLC without an RA # will not be eligible for repair, refund, exchange, or replacement. Customer will receive further instruction upon issue of the RA #. A restocking fee of up to 20% may apply for all returned products. A polishing or repair fee may also apply. The customer is responsible for all shipping and insurance charges for returns to J.A.L. Concepts LLC.

 

Shipping

 

Product will be ready to ship from J.A.L. Concepts LLC within 2 business days of payment received in full. Product will be delivered in 1-3 business days by USPS Priority Mail to the contiguous United States only. Refuse Delivery if product packaging is damaged upon receipt. If you cannot refuse delivery do not open damaged package. Take photos of the damaged package before opening and contact us immediately for further instruction. 

 

Return Shipping

 

Returns must be pre-approved and customer must obtain an RA # before returning products back to J.A.L. Concepts LLC. Items must be packaged and returned in the same condition as when received by customer. J.A.L. Concepts LLC is not responsible for damage or loss to merchandise if improperly packaged/shipped by customer. Items must be returned with original packaging. Additional packaging may be necessary to avoid damage during return shipping. The RA# must be written clearly on the outside of return package. Shipping and handling fees for returns/exchanges are not eligible for refund or credit. The customer is responsible for all shipping and insurance charges for returns to J.A.L. Concepts LLC. Always insure merchandise for the value in which you paid.
